Sugar - are we killing ourselves?
Sugar is a killer – the average person eats 56 teaspoons of sugar each day!!!
There are many foods that we eat that we think are healthy, but in fact are not.
- 6 oz of yogurt ( with fruit or flavorings) has 5 teaspoons of sugar
- Cheese sticks are mostly saturated fats or chemically altered low-fat
- Bagels, even whole wheat, are simple carbohydrates that raise blood sugar rapidly and makes you crave more
