Office Position: Registered Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities:
·       Oral hygiene & reviews medical history, evaluates your mouth for dental and tissue diseases (consults with         Dr. Grace), offers the standard care for any type disease that is present
·       Distributes oral hygiene aids to help eliminate disease & toothbrushes (manual or mechanical), fluoride,         antibacterial solutions
·       Monitors your dental health at subsequent office visits & may recommend frequency change
·       Uses high tech instruments to help treat gum (periodontal) disease and sonic cleaners that carry medicine         to the deep gum pockets
·       Schedule control - will make needed appointments for you to see the doctor or the hygienist
·       Volunteers in the Spencer School system every February to educate elementary students on dental                       health; and participates every Spring at Quinsigamond Community College at the Kid Seal program.
·       Maintains proper continuing education requirements as dictated by the Massachusetts Dental Hygiene                 Society
·
