EQUIPMENT UPGRADE!

Dr. Grace had his Laser for over 10 years. This device utilizes Laser source which atomizes the water spray, thereby cutting the tooth. This replaces the bur. It worked well but you can imagine the improvements that can be made in 10 years - think of your computer!

So in January, our office now has the very latest technology for Lasers in dentistry, the Waterlase MD by Biolase. Besides the hard tissues (tooth/bone), the new Laser works much better with the soft issue (gums, pulp). So, now there is more comfort when using this Laser on hard tissue (cavity preparations rarely need numbness since many more options for changing power and frequency of the Laser Beam are available). The soft tissue applications can now better treat gum pockets and root canals by disinfecting and sterilizing the areas of infection in the tooth and gums.

Overall, it is a win-win situation - less pain, no numbness needed and better results with respect to successful treatment. We invite you to see it for yourself!
